Hello Panthers!

Welcome to Navarro Intermediate School!

I am very excited about this school year and the events we have planned for our students. Our goal is not only to provide each student with an excellent education, but we also strive each day to instill in our students a healthy self-esteem and a sense of personal and communal responsibility--all of which will benefit them throughout their educational careers and their lives.

Working as a team--parents, students, and staff--we can make this year at Navarro Intermediate a memorable year for your child.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child.

Welcome the the Navarro Intermediate School Counselor's Office!

As the counselor at NIS, I offer a variety of services to our students and their families. I meet with students who may be having difficulty adjusting to school, making/keeping friends, having family issues, or those who are just having a bad day. I also have Lunch Bunch for students. This offers the students an opportunity to meet socially with their friends as they eat lunch with me in my activity room. The kids love the interaction with their friends, and I love getting to know my students in this light.

In addition, for families, I have a list of community resources that offers such services as outside counseling agencies, recreational activities for children, assistance with utilities/rent as well as medical and food assistance, and tutoring services.

My goal as your counselor at Navarro Intermediate is to provide for your child a positive, enriching school year academically, mentally, and socially. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please contact me at
