Panther Head

Good evening Navarro Panthers,

Today was a great first day start, I enjoyed walking through classrooms and seeing students both face to face and remotely. Students seemed excited to get back to school on each campus. I saw many engaging lessons today. There were teachers singing the alphabet while teaching proper hand washing techniques, music class had student singing along with a guitar and science students were actively engaging with the teacher about safety classroom procedures. I do believe the favorite part of the day for most students was recess and lunch.

I understand there were technical issues across all grade levels today with remote learning. The district apologizes for the inconvenience and difficulty that students and parents faced throughout the day. We have assessed the issues and hope that we have been able to address all of them. I ask that you email the teacher if you continue to have connectivity problems or your child does not receive the link to their classroom. Please be patient with us as we continue to work through remote learning questions and concerns. Staff is working extra hard to make classes engaging for all students.

Thank you for supporting Navarro ISD and entrusting your children to us.

It’s a GREAT day to be a Panther!
