Access Your Child’s STAAR Scores

Dear Navarro ISD Parents and Guardians,

The purpose of this letter is to properly inform you of when STAAR testing results for the 2021-22 school year will be available to view online in the state of Texas Student Assessment Portal, which can be found at www.texasassessment.gov. Using the directions enclosed with this letter, you will be able to go online using a computer or smart device to access your child’s scores the moment they become available. You will also be able to view your child’s entire state testing history.  The schedule for release of 2021-22 STAAR Test Scores is as follows:

Once you log into the Texas Student Assessment Portal and access your child’s results, what do the scores mean? Use the table below to help you understand the following terms:

If you do not have access to a computer or smart device, contact your child’s home campus and a paper copy of your child’s testing results will be provided. Please do not hesitate to contact the Navarro ISD administration building at 830-372-1930 or your child’s home campus if you have additional questions or if we can provide support to you in any way.

Steps to Access Your Child’s STAAR Scores on the Family Portal

  • You will see a screen like this:

  • Click on “Visit the Family Portal” icon
  • You will then see this screen:

  • If you have your access code, enter the code and your child’s birthdate and click “log in to student portal” to view scores.
  • If you do NOT have your access code, click on the “Look Up Unique Student Access Code” link.
  • You will then see a screen that looks like this:

  • Enter your child’s first name only and his or her social security number in the SSN or S-Number Field, and birthdate. Then click the blue “Go” button.
  • Your access code will appear in the code field with a message saying, “Access Code Lookup Successful”. Click the blue “Go” button again to see your child’s scores. Be sure to write down your access code for future use. The code is good for as long as your child is in a public school in Texas.
